Matt Nathanson – Sad Songs

I spent this past Saturday night at Quinnipiac visiting my best friend and out at a club in New Haven. My go-to outfit of black tights and my Baker’s ankle boots were a given. The blue dress is from an American Eagle summer collection a couple years ago (found way in the back of my closet). Trick of the trade? I tucked part of it up under the tie around the waist to make it a little bit shorter and a little less summer dress-looking.

Oh and yes, I’ve been using my Christmas Coach wallet as a clutch for the past month. My camera fits in the cash pocket and my Crackberry in the zip change pocket. Clearly a sign that I never cash on me..

Etsy is my ultimate shopping guilty pleasure. Anything you can think of – yep, you can find it there. Here are some of my favorites that are both fashionable and affordable (hello, I’m a college student living in New York City..)

My first weekend out in New York City! My friend from FIT and I went with two of her friends to see Sherlock Holmes and the intention of changing and going to Roam Lounge afterwards. Somehow we ended up at the 24-hour diner at my hotel after the movie with the boys and got breakfast food and hung out for an hour or so. I’m not complaining, the diner’s chocolate chip pancakes are deee-lish.
